Joel Curado is the Country Digitization Acceleration Leader for Digital Village, the Smart City Vertical, at Cisco Systems Switzerland. He has 12+ years’ experience in Digital Transformation, Smart Cities & IoT.

Before, Joel was a Technology Strategist, part of Cisco's Corporate Strategy Office. He worked on new solution creation and strategy in the IoT space and before he had multiple roles in Cisco’s Smart+Connected communities where he created managed and deployed from inception multiple citizen service solutions around the world in cities like Dallas, Nice, Barcelona, Chicago, Hamburg, Copenhagen and Dubai

He is an IE Business School Lecturer on the topics of Digital Transformation and Technology, Executive MBA Graduate and an Economist.

Joel has experience in business development, strategy & innovation, product management and solution creation.
